Manufacturing capabilities

Additive manufacturing

Two complementary technologies: printed sand molds and cores for metal casting, and FDM thermoplastic printing for tooling and components.

A connected process

01

Model

Prepare the digital geometry for the intended process.

02

Print

Build thermoplastic tooling or sand molds and cores.

03

Apply

Use the printed output in prototyping or casting.

Printed sand. New possibilities.

The Voxeljet VX1000-PDB builds sand molds and cores directly from digital models. This supports complex geometries and prototype casting without first producing a conventional pattern.

FDM tooling and components

Stratasys Fortus 900mc systems build patterns, core boxes, fixtures and thermoplastic components. Durable printed tooling connects digital engineering to the foundry process.
